Stacy Curtis is a freelance cartoonist who draws editorial cartoons, comics and illustrations for various publications and web sites.
Stacy's work has appeared in several magazines, newspapers and web sites as well as on the MSNBC web site and in the annual "Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year" collections by Pelican Publishing.
Stacy sat in on the comic strip, "Non Sequitur" while the strip's creator, Wiley Miller, was on vacation in November 1998.
With fellow artist and writer, Chaz Chapman, Stacy drew the comic Barkford which appeared for three years in Dog Fancy magazine. Together Stacy and Chaz wrote and illustrated, "You Know Your Dog Owns You If...", based on the Barkford character. The book was published in the spring of 2004.
Stacy has won several editorial cartooning awards, including:
- Best of Indiana, Society of Professional Journalists for editorial cartooning
- Illinois Press Association award for editorial cartooning
- Lisagor Awards, a finalist for editorial cartooning
